What stops you from reaching the zenith? What could ever have the power to control or keep bound the greatest creation of the Almighty God—YOU!!

The answer is, or to be more accurate, one of the answers is, COMPLACENCY!!

An apple when not properly refrigerated decays sooner and becomes obsolete. A man or woman experiences decadence, like that innocent apple, when the virus of complacency assails him or her.

Ruben Gonzalez, the great champion in the sport of luge, along with his bulldog-persistence, never ever became complacent neither with his practice nor with his performance.

He started ever competition with a fresher mindset!!

People who are successful at any greater level and who are in the vanguard inevitably don’t lose their sense of who they were and what they did before they became what they are.

They always instinctively seem to know that their results depend mainly on what they do now and not on their merits or advantages.

They know at the back of their minds, what they are capable of and have accomplished but also that the present is a different and a new situation that they must overcome as a new man or woman.

Dear reader, be on the qui vive when it comes to complacency; never allow this fatal beast swallow your hard-earned success and to destroy the meticulously arranged and constructed stack of cards!!

You may be a man or a woman, boy or a girl just starting out on the venture towards the paradise of success.

Just keep reminding yourself about this destructive thinking of being self-satisfied.

An apple can rot but not you or your life just because of a small yet the most malignant of habits!!

Discrimination is your weapon against complacency, as it is with every successful man and woman.

Winners always distinguish between what is good and what is bad; what is right and what is wrong; what is beneficial and what is pernicious, and certainly they eliminate this trait of self-satisfaction from their dictionary.

Start each project as a fresher and always have the mind-set that of a tyro. And face your challenges with alertness and reverence though you feel extremely confident.

Forget about your track record and even forget about your winning moments earlier today and keep going.

Be shielded from the “Complacency” syndrome and you will increase your chances of sustaining your success.

Yes success is important but more important is the retention of success and this habit will boost your chances apart from protecting you from slipping from your standards.

Riches is not just in money, it means a lot of other things as well.

Keep going beyond your limits habitually.

It is your moment to stretch to become rich!!

It’s sleigh time with Santa!

From dawn till dusk, the day is impregnated with Santa Claus – the ubiquitous uncanny Santa showering his gifts and amusing children and adult alike!!

This day is your gift day!

Until today you may have been impervious to that thing called “TRUMP CARD”, your trump card to a majestic life.

Just allow the Santa to pour out some incessant and hearty gifts for you.

Once you get your gifts watch out, for a wonderful life would be imminent!!

Come on get aboard. It’s sleigh time with Santa!

1. You can clean up the whole mess!

Don’t think even for a moment, that you cannot change or get rid of the things which you don’t like or things that you have created unconsciously which are haunting and keeping you down!

The decision to see your life differently and the passion to break the jinx are the factors that can take you from where you are to where you would like to go.

The criterion is to start to develop the trust in yourself, that “inner” ability of you which knows no boundaries and controls all the “outer” circumstances!!

What you have created for you in your life that you detest you can stop and start creating something new and that’s absolutely possible!!

2. Let candor be your forte:

Candor or uprightness never fail you. Maybe, this is that elusive element in the makeup of your personality.

The quintessence of success is and has always been HONESTY, INTEGRITY, and OUTSPOKENNESS AND UPRIGHTNESS.

The world may become more deceptive and treacherous but you, my dear companion, don’t digress from the path of being candid and a man/woman of integrity and frankness.

In fact, success, be it monetary or otherwise go hand-in-glove with straightforwardness that has soft touch to it.

3. Develop your inner stamina:

Men and women of matchless victories and achievements have mental stamina that surpasses even the physical stamina of the likes of Hercules and Samson!!

More often than not, it is this shortage of mental power to carry on in the face of chaos and pressures and discouragements that cause the havoc.

Mental stamina can be developed by shifting your focus from “outside” to the “inner”— the task at hand and completely immersing yourself in the job.

Be a “result repellent” – don’t be morbidly worried about the outcomes.

4. Don’t live up to the (ir) hypes:

Most of the time the reason for your lack of peace of mind, ineffectiveness, inefficiencies and a host of other “problems” is trying to live up to other’s expectations. On top of that, the sad thing is that these expectations are self-created and assumed.

Life should “flow freely” for maximum benefit and discoveries and development.

Just cut off the cord and soon you’ll see that you live on a higher plane and have abilities which were before hidden.

5. Love is all:

Love everyone. Spread love and cheerfulness where you go. You’ll see something pushes you upward be it in your career or any facet of your life.

Unconditional love is not at all a tough thing to adopt. In reality, it is in your very nature.

Belligerence is not your nature.

The “Golden Rule” can never go wrong nor is it a fad. It is here to stay for as long as our earth exists.

Be like a child that is innocuous and pure.

You’ll realize that the ultimate power lies in loving and treating others kindly and gently.

They may be harsh on you but never slip from your place. Be strong on this.

6. Adopt a new powerful paradigm:

Your old ways of looking at things may have been holding you back and the reason for all your sufferings.

It’s always you—your principles and beliefs and your actions.

Adopt principles and values that are sound. Let them lead and guide your life.

Adopt principles that are powerful, pure, rigid, up-lifting, and magnificent. They’ll carry you to high-places for the rest of your life.

7. Become an orphan:

“Dependent” mentality chains you to a place. Don’t allow yourself to be completely dependent on others.

Think that you are an orphan.

“Dependent” mentality will thwart your success.

Be a good team player but again don’t lose your “individuality and independency”.

In whatever team you are a part of, always strive to be the “most efficient and effective” individual.

Okay then, that’s what the Santa has to say. It’s been his hope that you’ll get started immediately on a new path.

The ride may have come to an end but your part has started now. Santa is so sure that when you open these gifts and use them, you’ll have no options but to succeed wildly!!

On a sunny morning I was wishing
A life of smooth ride!
Soon I realized, to hold the trophy
I must go against the tide!!

Being on the losing side of a game
I was feeling solemn and hopeless
Only soon to realize the
experience can make me fearless or spineless!!

Amazed and inspired to witness in a shipyard
A majestic and a big ship evolving!
The similar majesty residing in me, I realized
around which my success was revolving!!

Day and night everyday had I been
Worried about my insomnia
Until I realized I hadn’t woken up, more importantly
from my sleep to reach the acme!!

With affluent and achievers around me
I shrank into a small old rag
Only to realize suddenly and quickly
that infinity was my price tag!!

So my goal from this very point on:
To stamp on my fears with my feet
To crush the long-held delusion of fate
To deploy positive thoughts in my fleet
To conquer feat after feat after feat!!

Who helped Steve Jobs to succeed?

Who supported Michael Jordan to be a legend in his field?

Who was behind the success of Johnny Depp?

Guess what—they are the ones who supported and nurtured and nourished themselves and brought them

where they were to where they are now!!

This may sound incredible but that‘s the truth with all of us. Of course these magnificent ones were helped and lifted by others but the truth is the ultimate climb of them was in their hands and so is with you!!

Yes it’s an absolute truth that for big success or success of any magnitude you need people to succeed. But the starting point of all the success you will have in your life and sustaining it hinges entirely in your hands!!

It all depends upon how you carry yourself particularly during your initial years. Deciding upon your major aim in life completely make you to focus on the purpose and spend your energy on that purpose. But at the same time, once you have formed your purpose, it’s kind of starting to drive in a particular direction. You are changing roads and for the first time you are going to travel on a particular road for a much longer time.

That means you are going to see what you haven’t seen and experience what you haven’t experienced in your life and will be hit by new things that you may haven’t seen up until then.

But these personal obstacles and roadblocks, you are to overcome and that’s entirely depends on you. Michael Jordan, when he was practicing intently and with extreme concentration would have felt many days of pain and disappointments. Remember, this after “conceiving a purpose and starting in different direction”.

If he had thought about what he was doing as a punishment or some insurmountable challenge he wouldn’t have become what he was and is. It entirely was up to him.

The “EXPERIENCING” of disappointments and temporary defeat, as Mr. Napoleon Hill would call it and taking them as an integral part of your journey and more importantly your growth is the starting point of greatness, YOUR GREATNESS!!

Don’t shy away from these “good” pains and defeats. Maybe people can say consoling words and encourage you at the maximum, take them and absorb them for your vitality, but the real champion you are, you must transcend these trails by being tougher than your challenges.

You must play your game solo when it comes to personal challenges and tackling your defeats and shortcomings.

The secret is people who have reached zenith would tell you that their greatest moments of “enlightenment” came during their greatest moments of trials and tribulation and failures!! Keep breaking the walls that come your way and one day you’ll find yourself to have grown stronger and bigger!!

That’s what these legends did. They experienced the discomforts and didn’t give up. They went through hole of pain. And when they came out on the other side they were unbelievably far better and thousands of stairs above the rest of the pack!!

This takes mental toughness and a white hot burning desire.

If you want to drive home only one point from this, take this:

“If they can do it, so can YOU. It’s absolutely possible for you to achieve whatever you have decided to reach and grab, no matter how high it may be placed. Just do it!!”

It all starts from you and continue to grow from you!!

We hear people often say something like, “I had a golden age a decade back. I wish I could enjoy the same era again!”

But the sad fact is that they can enjoy an era which they would and could call as “Diamond age” if they only realize the power that they have inside them!!

If you are one of them remember you still have hope for a better tomorrow and the key lies in your thinking; believing that you have a better and bright future ahead and expecting it with stupendous faith!!

Successful men and women start each and every day with a great attitude of expectancy whatever challenges they had been facing. They know that with this kind of mental attitude they possess a secret power which is not available to men and women who always expect gloomy thing to turn out in their lives—and they get them as per their anticipation!!

From this moment forward have FAITH in yourself, in your Creator and your fellow human beings and hence in a great future!! Never stop believing that you have a marvelous future no matter what you have accomplished so far in your life. Every great achievement is built on this simple yet tremendously powerful truth.

FAITH can move and at times shatter mountains. If you want to be successful then you got to expect good things. But what people do normally? They link their beliefs and moods to the outer circumstances.

In stark contrast, victorious men and women choose to hope for great things to happen and the challenges to melt away soon with their constructive actions. That’s the kind of attitude you must assume to become one!!

Looking forward to a joyous and successful life may be a bit uncomfortable for you at the outset as it is a frame of mind but with passage of this new great attitude of mind becomes second nature to you and you’ll see things that you had never seen until then.

Now let’s look at some of the great traits men and women of extraordinary mettle possess:

1. They keep moving:

Yes, of course they expect a blessed future with riches of all kind but they don’t get stuck when they hit a wall. You know what they do? They break the wall!! They just keep moving with all their might in action. Nothing can stop them and this attitude complements them enormously.

2. They are well prepared:

Why people are gloomy and solemn and don’t have any hope in the future? Because they don’t have any goals or purpose and they aren’t prepared well for any opportunity that may show up. Opportunity comes to the person who are prepared like a ball falling from the sky—it will definitely fall and a well prepared person will definitely catch it.

It’s this UNPREPAREDNESS that creates an attitude of failure among people and many people at that. So the key is to learn your trade well and be so good at it and you’ll automatically expect good things to happen in your precious life.

3. Past doesn’t equal your future:

You may haven’t had many successes in your life. You may have failed and had to bear thunders after thunders that may have torn your heart apart. But know what – YOUR PAST CAN NEVER CONTROL YOUR FUTURE. Yes you can have a wonderful future and realizing this simple truth that your future depends upon the changes that happen to you today and the kind of actions you take from this moment on!!

So, whatever label you were given in the past—SHY, WORTHLESS, FIT FOR NOTHING, ROGUE, SPINELESS, etc. know that your change is the starting point of a shining life ahead!!

Most people want to keep getting to that place called “Success” on a regular basis or even want to be there permanently. And indeed it is their station in life to be highly successful and lead a great life that is full of richness.

In stark contrast, people tend to lose things in their life or achieve anything worthwhile just because of their mentality toward life. They want success but don’t want to ever see or experience any failure at all; even at the smallest level!!

They are taught that life failure is the end; that failure is bad; that failure is something they must be ashamed of; that if or when they fail they are finished!! What a weak way to look at life!!

In reality, Success and failure will change places with you in your lifetime. No one can live a life that full of failures or full of successes. If you think you are failing now don’t worry for you will succeed if you keep going and keep taking actions in the right direction toward your goals!! If you are a success now, that’s good and don’t get carried away when you fail.

Before embarking on your life mission, just make up your mind to this fact: Failure and success will keep having their turns and it is absolutely normal for anyone to experience both. This attitude when fixed even before you start any big venture would provide you that determined heart and steadfastness that all the real champions possess.

In fact, most of the great products and services and most of the successful people in all walks of life are made in the furnace of both their success and failure experiences. They succeeded at one thing and at last discovered the secret or became what they had dreamed. The same goes for failure experience too. Some learned from their failure experiences and changed according to the need.

How do you do it?

Whether it is your success experience or your failure experience, you must learn from them and then you do the following things:

Ch Change your strategy: You modify your ineffective plan if you have failed or just capture that effective planned which paved the way for your success and try to improve it.

Ch Change your attitude or any qualities: Sometimes a failure experience shows you that a particular character trait of yours is in the way between you and your success. It may be pessimistic thinking or lack of boldness or a combination of many qualities. If you are sure about this then go about acquiring these qualities for you can always change yourself for the better.

In contrast, if you discovered that a success was the result of a particular inherent quality that you have, be sure to record this finding and put efforts to develop it.

Then again continue with your plans and with time and with each modification you’ll succeed.

Does it end there?

Nope! Again you may fail at one point or another. Just know that that’s failure’s time. When failure shows up it always means that need to “modify” things—little bit or sometimes vastly!!

Don’t allow your ego to get in the way and make you to quit. Don’t allow your fear to dishearten you. Don’t allow you self-created bad beliefs to stop you.

Remember, the only person who can stop you from what you want in life is YOU. But the only person who can always be with you until the day of your great success and even after is your inner self.

What brings victory?

VICTORY! Now that is the word that many people are after. They want to represent VICTORY and they want to be VICTORIOUS.

What it really takes one to really become a great success in life. What is that elusive-factor of the commons?

What is that single habit that the highly victorious people have that 99.9999% of the rest don’t have? Yes you read that right—99.9999%!

What is that one thing that when you come to possess you too would become different from the pack and would make your way through every obstacle?

What is that one success trait that convincingly guarantees you your success as it did for greats like Michael Faraday, Mahatma Gandhi, Alexander Graham Bell, William Shakespeare and many others?

It is Singleness of purpose—having single aim.

The world now have a lot of facilities and advancements which facilitate a great life but at the same time there are lots of distractions and stress-builders around which fights 24/7 to take people away from concentrating on any single big ideal!

Ironically, it is through high-focus and singleness of purpose that these very advancements and breakthrough have been arrived at!

Big success really calls for a lot of single-minded efforts and concentration on one single purpose that you set for yourself. Ever looked an eagle when it catches it prey?

It can look at the prey even from 4 to 5 km distance! As soon as it sites its prey it narrows its focus and wouldn’t think of anything until it has its prey!!

Now that’s exactly what the really marvelous achievers do not just once in a blue moon but every single day!!!

They would always have their purpose or their major goal in front of them. They always think about their goal and how to achieve them. Nothing can distract them and hence nothing can stop them from achieving them what they set out to do!

Now only this kind of obsessiveness can bring big success. Now what does the dictionary says about the “being obsessive”?

It says that one is unable to stop thinking about someone or something.

Yes that the key-the master key! You must never be able to stop thinking about your dream even if you try to!!

Simplification is the secret. You just simplify your life by conceiving one aim and then putting all the energy you have now to attain it and know what, you’ll definitely succeed!!

Just take a look at the following three steps and then internalize them. You’ll do many miracles once they become one in you!

Taking charge of one’s life and deciding what one wants is the first key:

First one must understand the truth. What truth? The truth that one is in a certain position now just because of all the efforts that he/she has put whether in the right things or in the wrong ones.

This signifies the importance of knowing what one wants before starting to put the efforts because if one is fuzzy about what he/she wants then the effort may go in the wrong direction. Gaining clarity and deciding up on ones life purpose is the first step and a very important step!

Purity is the second key:

Being pure means not allowing external poisons to enter your mind. Like said before, there are a lot of distractions around which tempt one to just take his/her eyes from the purpose. But it is ones utmost responsibility to keep staring at the dream. Many opportunities would start become visible to you which never be seen by people who lack a purpose in life. You put yourself in the top category of people!!

Only seriousness and sincerity brings success-the third key:

Success is a serious business and the more you meditate on your purpose the more you are prone to change the way you must in order to succeed. Being a sincere man/woman who diligently does whatever ought to be done whether one likes or not is the character trait that brings to you the success that you have been thirstily looking!!

Involve yourself only in those important things that will take you toward your success.

The catchword here is “ONE”

One life

One way movement

One kind of thought

And one of the greatest achievements!

The king of success habits!

What is life? It means different things to different people. But surely most of us, you including I suppose, see it as series of cause and effect. It’s true in all its sense! Life is a series of results that you get for the examinations that you undertake.

Know what, successful people take much more exams than the mediocre ones and they are never afraid of what the results might be. They keep taking the tests that life throws their way without fear and thus they march forward successfully.

People who don’t know about this secret just hide from these tests and they never take chances or make more attempts at life’s battery of tests!

If there was one piece of advice that could really have a great impact for your precious life it is this: Never leave a stone unturned!

Yes dear reader you have got to keep making attempts after attempts in order to make your goal a reality and this is done by taking whatever test that life asks you to take bravely and come out like a dragon!

“TRY AND KEEP TRYING” is the slogan of those men and women who heap success after success. You too can become like them just by changing the way you look at this life. Be bold and never think about whether you’d fail in a venture but single-heartedly and single-mindedly put all your effort and keep pushing forward!!

This three letter word is the king of success principles. Many a men/women did and have done things that sometimes surpass the logic just because they kept knocking at doors without losing their confidence. Many big business empires are built by valiant people who just TRIED and tried and asked for what they want.

Let TRY be the word that you love hereafter. Let it get soaked in every fiber of your body. Let it emerge and shine every single time when you are told that you can’t achieve a certain goal or a purpose.

Say to yourself “come on TRY and keep TRYING” every single day of your life from hereon. Never hesitate to attempt for there’s nothing wrong with it. Only when you TRY would you know where you stand and what are the buried talents that you have deep within you.

One more fact is that when you TRY more, you are more likely to discover many things about life, about others, about your profession, about yourself and so on. This discovery may lead you into a different direction which can altogether change your life for better—a divine destiny!!

People don’t give a TRY for many reasons and some of them are:

1. That’s-not-for-me mentality: People simply get satisfied with whatever they have not because of “Be happy with what you have” principle but because of lack of self-confidence. They simply don’t trust themselves and believe in their ability. They just think that they don’t deserve success and so they lead a passive, dull and languid life.

But mark the following words for they are as true as your existence is: EVERY SINGLE SOUL IS CAPABLE OF DOING MARVELOUS THINGS AND YOU, BY THE SAME TOKEN CAN WORK MIRACLES BOTH IN YOUR OWN LIFE AND IN OTHERS IF YOU BUT BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!

2. Anyways-I-am-going-to-fail mentality: “Assumption” has done more damage to humanity than you could ever think. People assume that they’d fail terribly and be humiliated and face all sorts of problems. They SUUCESSFULLY do this even before they TRY and hence they SUCCESSFULLY avoid TRYING and SUCCESSFULLY fail to SUCCEED!!

It’s 1000 times better if one attempts and fails rather than not starting or attempting at all!!

But the truth is it’s in those attempts that your success is made!

3. Great buddies of the great hare:

Ever heard the racing-tale between the HARE AND THE TORTOISE? People are close buddies to this great hare in the sense that they are lazy and sluggish. This is one of the primary reasons why people don’t take chances.

Even if you think you are a tortoise, just TRY and keep pushing upward and give as many shots as you can. You will and must eventually succeed and would one day know that you are not a tortoise but a powerful angel!

4. It’s-foggy-all-around mentality: Unlike the winners others they don’t TRY just because they can’t see things as clearly as they want. But one secret is successful people they keep going forward in spite of the fog and as they make their make their way forward, they start to see things that hadn’t been clear before. But in the first place they had the mind to MOVE from the initial place!

As you move you’ll discover more resources that could help you with your goals, more energy, more hope, more faith, more courage, more support, more clarity and more of what you need!

TRYING is the twin brother of another principle which is “PERSISTENCE”. TRYING is extensive and PERSISTING in a single goal is intensive. To single out one factor that is far more important to your success and your progress in life is not a difficult task. That’s because this factor wins over others hands down and it is the way you see yourself!

Incidentally, this is the same factor that majority of the people in this world lack and worse yet they are not aware of it as well.

When you start believing in yourself, like the successful people do all the time, you will start to see a paradigm shift in many beliefs that you have been holding. In fact, respecting yourself and maybe having a rock-like self-belief is a paradigm shift for you and this way of looking at yourself differently from what you have will invariably bring in all the power and potential you have had to the surface!

Have you ever quit a project or any undertaking just because you thought you couldn’t do it?

Have you ever tried things that were considered impossible or difficult by others?

Have you ever stopped doing things just because someone commented casually that you were not up-to-the-mark?

The greatest secret to success is governing oneself. As simple it may seem, this is one discipline that is a bit difficult to master but it is the same criteria which really sets you apart from the vast majority of the population!

Swami Vivekananda from India was a master at this and it hadn’t come easily for him as well! He had to work on this aspect for some time before it gave away it’s secret and made him what he had been all through his life; he did things that seemed to be miracles and still do, but in actuality you too are perfectly capable of doing what Swami Vivekananda did, or even more!

The secret is in bringing all that you have under control and being the complete master of yourself!

Pressure Cookers:

A lot of people have been turning into pressure cookers in the recent days. Why?

That’s because people have started to focus on the “running for a life” more than focus on how they do it. It’s completely ok to keep pushing yourself for a better life but in the process you forget to take care of the body and mind that are the vehicles through which you accomplish your goals!

Apply and grow!

Growth means application. Every human being wants to grow in every way possible. It’s not only a person’s want but as well need. Without growth one perishes.

To grow one must constantly apply. All through the recorded history men and women who were enormously successful were all enormous “Applicators”!

They just didn’t stagnate in one place nor just had wishful thinking which is nothing but hoping that things would turn out their way!!

Now what does “application” indicate or mean here?

It means applying things that you know or have inside you.

Figuring out solutions to challenges is one form of applying your potential, your knowledge, your skills and whatever you possess so that you grow to the next level as well as find a way for your problem.

Wright brothers did exactly that when they invented airplane. They had known that there were laws that would enable humans to fly with the help of their aircraft. But then, they also applied:

1. What they knew (the knowledge they possessed)

2. What they were (their character trait which was comprised of persistence, hard work, etc)

And these coupled with their constant action and probing and exploring brought them success!

So, now let’s take a journey of revelation and capture what these great “Applicators” do:

Exploration is application:

Yes exploration is application. One got to keep searching for new alternatives and innovative answers if he/she wants to become better and that becomes when one grows! So on a daily basis just keep exploring for new possibilities. This is exactly what successful people do all the time!

And it is when they are immersed in this act they are typically labeled as “Weirds” or “Odds” but the truth is they always fight against all odds and win the battle with a will of steel! Now you too can when you start exploring for new possibilities in yourself!!

Learning and application:

Whatever new things that go into the mind of the people who are successful would return as “elegant acts” immediately. This means when they learn from a mistake the very next time they either avoid things that they shouldn’t do or they never forget to do things that they must do, in order to succeed.

This also means that when they learn a new skill pertaining to their job, they right away start applying the skills and try to become more productive.

The law “knowledge is potential power” is an integral part of this philosophy of “Application”.

Apply whatever you have at your disposal to achieve your goal(s).

3. Character too is application:

Greatness calls for character and character is nothing but application of time-tested success values in our daily life.

Men and women of greatness and high degree of success have their great values in active mode! They act on these values and exhibit themselves as an embodiment of these values!

So, first see how your character has been molded so far in your life.. If it’s not what you want, you can always change for you can always choose—you can choose your character and hence your actions and therefore your destiny!!

The higher you go the better “applicator” you must become and in fact the better applicator you become the higher you’d go!

Now, what’s the difference between the world that existed 200 years back and the world that we see today?

It’s APPLICATION!!

People applied laws that had always existed and discovered or invented new things or innovated so that life would become more entertaining, convenient, and luxury.

To scale great heights you must use up all that you have got through the law of “application” which would invariably expand your container and fill you with more powers than you had before. People of the highest calibers are always pushing themselves and that’s why they grow. By “pushing” they are applying the law of application and through this law they grow and their growth allows them to receive more!!

We use an applicator to apply a substance, more often to cure something or to mitigate something. In your life you are your own applicator—you cure you own circumstance!!

The first lap starts from your mind and the way you see things. When you see everyday as an opportunity to apply what you have, you can rest assured that you will see the light anytime sooner!!

(This poem is from a man who lost his “Fighting spirit” in life and has somewhat or somehow developed into a “victim” of life rather than a “Victor” in life. He now is talking to his heart to change for better for he knows that it is his heart that is responsible for the current situation.

He realizes that his heart must become its old-self again for him to get back everything he has lost, and more! The most wanted quality for success

Yes agreed, you need to travel many roads, lanes and expressways that lead to the Holyland of success. But know what, there is one road that you simply cannot afford to miss!!

Those of you who really are obsessed to succeed at any cost, if bother to take this road as well among others, would really find yourself pleasantly surprised by the momentum and power it gives you—the energy it fills you with—the new being it makes of you and the NEW WAY it could show and lead you in to!!

That road is, for your transformation, “Doing more than what is expected of you or what you are paid for.”

The world in general and people commonly shirk their duties and responsibilities. It has become commonplace that the modern population has learned to do “a little bit less” than what is expected of it. In some cases, people tend to be apathetic, careless and even cheating when it comes to performing the work that is reasonable.

This population, according to the 80/20 rule, accounts for and represents the majority group of people. But, tell you what, you must escape from this group of people, if you are one among them now, as soon as possible and join the minority 20% of population who are well on their way to creating their own destiny!

Success is something that you attract by becoming a more valuable person and that happens superfast when you do more than what you are paid for.

The elite group of gentle men and women who have been labeled as “Legends” are nothing but people who do everything in their capacity with all sincerity and honesty and integrity. On the outside some of them may seem like the duck that seems to be calm and swimming without any efforts but the truth of the matter is they are pushing hard underwater beating their legs fast!

Today or tomorrow morning when you enter your workplace, go there with a different kind of mind-set—to do your best—every moment you stay their. Don’t set the bar based on how the environment is or how it seems to be but set you mark a bit higher, a bit farther, and a bit deeper and see what happens to your VALUE as a person!!

Your start to soar high and high like an eagle that is born to conquer the sky!

Apply the same secret to your family area as well. Do spend more quality time with your spouse, children and others. Do listen more. Observe more. Give more. Commit more. Share more and more and more and more!!

It is in that “extra” push lies the real secret of success. Winners know this and they invariably put that “extra” pound to their punch and that’s why we could see trials and tribulations fall like a deck of cards for them. You too are capable of such uncommonly common act when you assume the same kind of approach toward life.

See life is like is a master tester. It tests us regularly how we deal with its challenges. But after a while after testing you, if it is convinced that you are not going to budge but stand firm, the next step is SHOWER—GIFT SHOWER. You would be flooded with gifts and fruitful results.

Then you’ll again be tested but on a different level since you are now a different and a much improved and a bigger person that what were before. If you still resolve to hold on, it’ll bless you with bigger gifts and blessings. You’ll sooner find yourself to be in an upward spiral and there would be literally no stopping you.

This is where the quality of “doing more” comes into play. Think what would be show up if you keep doing more and more than your previous level when you are faced with new and different kind of challenges? GROWTH would result! YOU-the very you would become “MORE” and are now ready to receive MORE!!

Whether it your job or business or family or physical workout routine or anything else, do MORE than what is expected from you. Go the extra mile—if possible go extra two miles!!

You are by nature unlimited.

The only limit that you can have is the limit that you impose on yourself; whereas in reality you can be, have or do anything you want so badly!

If history incarnates as a human being it’d tell you that every single great achievement is the result of the knowledge and faith that achievers had in their potential.

When you underestimate your powers and abilities that you have, you can’t go beyond the line of mediocrity or surpass the line of ‘commonness”.

To be extraordinary you must begin to realize that you, the magnificent living being, has everything it takes to reign over life and could, if resolve strongly, be at the helm of life by unleashing the angels of power within you!!

That power could be revealed only when you start to TRUST yourself, your abilities, your vast reservoir of massive capability that you possess within the inner core of your very being.

People are unfortunately brought up as weaklings doubting their own abilities, suspecting their talents or even feeling inferior amidst winners; completely forgetting the fact that they too are made up of the same stuff for nature is just and fair and they too could do as well as these successful people!!

You, whoever you are or wherever you are from or in whatever situation you have landed yourself, are made up of the same kind of material that a victorious man/woman are and can do every bit as they do!!

But that doesn’t mean you are in the same place as they are. For that you have to work all your way to reach where they are now! Metaphorically, this is like both are given the same parts to build your own car. They built their car and are now 500 miles ahead of you. So, all you have got to do is to build your car with the same material you are provided with, start it and reach that 500 miles or even go beyond it!

And it is the suspicion mentality that if you could build your car or whether the parts furnished to you are of the same quality as others or if you could drive your car or if you could reach that 500 miles mark!

This kind of thinking would curb you and wouldn’t allow you to make even so much as the smallest move in your life.

Nature wants you to use up all you have got and start moving and keep at it. When you start using your resources regularly and with high intensity nature would replenish you with more resources and then even more with every step you take intently; for you are limitless!

Successful people knowingly or unknowingly often put themselves in positions which call for using their fullest, maximum, the highest and demand from them nothing but excellence—automatically!!

The more you believe in your capacity, the more actions you’d take. The more actions that you take in the right direction, the more fulfilling and staggering results you’d taste. The more positive results you experience, the more confident you’d become. The more confident you are, the more potential would be unleashed from within. The more potential unleashed, the more extraordinary and powerful you become. The more powerful you become the more difficult things you would be able to do that others would see you as someone who has come out of the sky!

Yes dear winner, ships are safe within the harbor, extremely safe that nothing happens to them… but is that

what ships are built for??

So is with you as well!

You are not built to stay in a small circle that you draw for yourself. You are meant to EXPAND!!

You are meant to grow and become bigger and better with time. And this is decided by the limit you assume for yourself and the fearless you exhibit about life’s dreaded elements on a day-to-day basis.

You have the power deep within you to enlarge your circle and you are not confined to a small area...you are literally limitless. Your mind defines your limit and why not set your limit to the sky rather than 5 or 10 feet above your head?

Your limit that you set for yourself determines your actions and your confidence in yourself and the vice versa is also true. But you have always taken the right move when you see yourself as a “no-limit” person and the truth is you absolutely are!!

Many a people don’t dare to think BIG or give thought to do things that seem impossible. But nature favors only those fortune few, may be like you and I mean it, and bless them with things that are not within the reach of the people who don’t have the courage to take those forward steps amidst uncertainty and chaos!

Some people they leave the harbor but they don’t go far because of fear and their growth is stunted. But the trailblazers are the ones who just aren’t afraid what challenges that life brings, as it would always by it’s nature, and they simply break every challenge that life poses and enter the next level. This is one of the major determining features of magnificent success.

The question is why not you be that trailblazer?

The defining factor between the establishers and the onlookers, therefore, is that “No-reverence –attitude” toward the nightmares of life—failure, criticism, hardships, poverty to name a few.

The former group just doesn’t give a heck about the above mentioned nightmares but simply…simply cruise through their way to their success.

There’s no fee to join this group of men and women and you too can sign up right away! Just remember you got to first get up and get going with all your might no matter where you are now or how badly you are bruised or injured. Nobody can do it for you and nobody has the time nor the power to do it for you but yourself.

Believe that you are you savior and you will be and in fact you are indeed!

Leave the harbor IMMEDIATELY and be ready to face the turbulent waves and the monsters of life bravely and you’ll witness sooner than you expect that you have conquered each one of them convincingly by your very act of brave move in the outward direction which most people don’t dare to take.

The common trend that prevails is that majority of us are afraid to leave the harbor because we typically dread the “Uncomfortables” and “Inconveniences”.

But would you like yourself to be confirmed to this typical behavior and mind-set?

Don’t ever do it! Be different by being indifferent to life’s turmoil and right now start off even if you feel uncomfortable or disempowered or weak; the more distance you cover consistently, the more strong, confident and shrewd you’ll become for sure! But be resolved to leave the harbor!!

And focus your attention on yourself and come to know about your limitless powers you naturally possess which can annihilate any force that tries to pull you down.

You are like the latest version of the ship “Titanic” which can even decimate the iceberg and sail through the ocean triumphantly and proudly!

So, why stuck in the same place and wondering whether lady-luck would favor you?

You’ll become lucky and blessed when you bring to the front all your forces of creation through courage.

Sometimes all it takes is a little act of valiant thinking and a little act of courage and going into the unchartered territory with tremendous boldness to hold the success in your hands!

Give the initial push…that debut push and you’ll see that you have taken down the timber! Life would want you to be paralyzed and cemented to a small area where you don’t grow and worse still deteriorate. Don’t give it a chance for that and straightaway break your bonds that are holding you back from reaching the zenith that you deserve.

Once a wealthy and philanthropic father taught his son, “Failure and success are like seats in a Ferris wheel where some times failure is at the top and at other times success is at the top. Your aim is to keep switching to bigger and bigger Ferris wheel—where you enjoy bigger successes as well as experience bigger failures.”

That father was sure a wise man to know that failure is an integral part of success and without failure success is not possible!

So never keep score of your failures. Just forget them and just focus on your successes. Never allow failure to daunt you and keep you from achieving what you are destined to achieve!

The following pattern has been the same for ages:

You begin a task or venture—fail—then you rectify things—try it again—fail—learn from it—try it again—then you succeed!

People who see failure as something that is not good, something sinister and that they must avoid would quit even during the initial stages. But successful people keep rectifying the errors amidst the failure experiences and eventually they succeed.

The following “Stops” and “Starts” would give you the boost you need and change your life for better :

STOPS:

Stop fearing failure:

The moment you stop fearing failure you get an invisible guarantee card for success.

Yes, fear of failure paralyzes you and stop you from moving forward and be your best. Don’t allow this to happen to you.

Overcome your fear of failure and be daring to fail even if it’s on a day-to-day basis.

Starting now, this very moment, conjure up your guts to face the fear eyeball-to-eyeball.

Stop avoiding failure:

Many men and women want to succeed—succeed greatly—but more than to succeed they also don’t want to fail.

That little population of winners world over doesn’t place any importance to their failure experiences except for the lesson they take from the experiences.

Don’t see a failure experience as something serious and BIG and end-of-everything. Just give a comeback.

Stop being embarrassed by failure:

Failure is not something to be ashamed of if you have given all you can and still failed.

Failure is something quite normal and millions and millions of people fail daily whether it is at a small level or at a grand level.

Failure is an essential part of success and without failure success is not whole as it is only those failures that prepare you for your success.

Erase this “Embarrassment” mentality forever and be ready to fail, even if it’s in front of millions of people!

Stop seeing yourself as failure:

When you fail, don’t label yourself as “FAILURE”. No you’re not and nobody is.

Your efforts have failed—your plan has failed—your approach has failed—your Strategy has failed, all of which could be changed; and not you (you have not failed). Just give it another try and keep at it until you succeed.

STARTS:

Start taking more planned steps:

Ordinary people attempt less, much less that they ought to be whereas victorious people try more. Fail more and, succeed more as well.

Those “extra” efforts make them extra-ordinary and that is possible only when you take steps constantly amidst your failure experiences.

Start to perceive failure as a valuable teacher:

Achievers see failure as a milestone which indicates they are nearing their city of success.

Learn from your failures what you must avoid and what you must adopt.

Above all, when you enter your classroom of failure just remember to leave your baggage of emotions on the outside.

Start to “start all over again”:

You will grow stronger, bigger and more powerful each time you come back to pursue your efforts after a failure, whether BIG or small.

Once you are no more embarrassed by your failure you’ll be more ready to try again and face it as it is!

Start seeing failure as a rehearsal:

Failure is the practice that you undergo for success and a practice that you must undergo. The more you practice the more adept you become at succeeding. So keep practicing!!

Without rehearsal one cannot expect to an excellent or top-class performer— you learn the nuances of life through failure.

It is those times that you fail which brings out the best in you and use your potential better the next time you try again. Through a battery of tests you season yourself for success. That is the miracle of failure.

Be like an anvil that worns out many hammers.

Finally remember the following lines:

“Failure is not the final stop. It’s just a full stop. You can always begin a new sentence.”

So if you have failed lately, just shake it off and start again.

Burning desire is the difference dear brothers and sisters—yes it’s that fire in you that sets you apart from the “ordinaries and commons”- and that is exactly why many are commons—lack of burning desire.

Desire is like a castle in sand and a burning desire is like a castle in diamond!

So… what are the important pillars that bear BURNING DESIRE? Just go down for the revelation!

Mere wish and desire and burning desire:

The difference between having a wish and a desire and having a burning desire is like the difference between a worm and a man and a superman!

A worm can only dream about flying. A man can try to fly but not on his own. But superman can go anywhere he wishes. That is exactly the potential of burning desire and where it can place you!

So fan your desire into flame—a burning desire.

Keeping the end result in mind is one of the most effective ways to do this.

Never put out your inner fire:

Successful men and women, in unison always keep their burning desire blazing high and fly all the time. They are in some ways are like maniacs who follow their burning desire with all their heart and mind and soul! They, with every fiber of their being, love their burning desire.

They never allow people or circumstance to extinguish their burning desire—it may go the other way—increase the intensity of their burning desire.

Keep putting oil in your lamp:

Mother Teresa, who served poor and destitute all-out, asserted,

“To keep a lamp burning we have to keep putting oil in it.”

Let your burning desire, be it becoming wealthy or happy or spiritually fulfilled or anything that you want, alive all the time and in fact keep increasing its intensity.

When you have burning desire you wouldn’t be able to wait for the next day to arrive as you’d want to go to the next rung of the ladder! That’s the kind of attitude you must possess and that’s the kind of attitude and each and every achievers possesses.

Always be empty:

Only a dry sponge could absorb liquid!

Only an empty vessel can hold water!!

When you have burning desire in you to achieve something worthwhile will you and can you go to the subsequent levels.

Don’t think that you have “arrived”—for that attitude will but hold you back. Keep yourself like a blank board, always ready for “Writing”—writing new things with your results and attainments.

Take things in your stride:

Successful people take both embarrassment and positive experiences as a ladder not as a pit. With every setback they face or with every obstacle that comes in their way they get strengthened unlike those others who are weakened!

They get strong and so are their burning desires!

Never think for a moment that things that happen to you are not good—but rather get lessons from each experience and just move on. Don’t stagnate.

This is like standing on the thorn that just punctured your feet and shouting that it aches! You cannot afford to stand in THE SAME PLACE. Just take the thorn out (Out of your heart) and move on. Soon you’ll see a valley of pretty flowers and that embraces you and empower you to deepen your burning desire into yourself!

Staying power comes from your burning desire:

Your burning desire to reach your goals or what you want or be or have in your life gives you that quality of not quitting until the mission is accomplished.

Even when nothing seems to happen you won’t quit. You just carry on until you bring that whale of success out of the sea! You just hold on to the pole while others have let go their grips.

The secret is your burning desire.

Let others walk away but not YOU!

Your “without and within”—success

The most important questions that you may be asked, which is pivotal for your success, are:

“In what kind of environment are you living?”

“What are the different environments are you subjecting yourself continuously?”

The undeniable truth is successful people always soak themselves, consciously or unconsciously, in GOOD ENVIRONMENTS!

For some, they may have been born in environments which are conducive to success—positive parents, or placed in a position where opportunities are easier to come by!!

But does this mean that only those can succeed? Absolutely and by God’s honest truth, a BIG NO!

You may have born to poor parents or in family where success has always been a distant dream, but you can and will succeed if you can change your ENVIRONMENT!!

Your external environment and your internal environment must be tuned in such a way that you are cruising along life’s highroad gloriously.

Successful people, since most of them are proactive, choose to create a healthy and encouraging environment and try to be in good environment most of the time whether at home or at work or wherever they go.

Environment is nothing but “Where” you are all day long and in turn and consequently, all year long and all your life.

You can be in environment where you are discouraged… Or you could be in such settings where you feel like you can achieve miraculous things—it’s all in your hands!

External environment:

1. Choose to have a sweet home:

Success has its roots at home as well and home is the place where your primary source of relaxation and inspiration and happiness would emerge and affect other areas of your life.

Keeping your room clean and having things that inspire you is a great idea to start off.

For some books may give them the boost.

For some audiophiles, having a neat audio or video system along with stacks of DVD’s and CD’s would motivate them. The Simplicity principle would help you here; before bringing in any change first dispose all those things that you haven’t been using recently or you think could be discarded. Then start to change your environment by adding things that are your favorite. This is on the materialistic level.

Cultivating a culture of love and trust and true caring inside your home with your children and spouse and other members is as or more important than the first one.

These things would help you in your work and other areas.

2. At work and other places of social interaction:

Successful people create a positive environment at workplace too, if possible.

Having motivational poems or phrases plaque on your desk would put you continuously in a positive frame in spite of negative outer situation.

As with home, creating a culture with ones peers and boss and other people outside your home would also help you in your success. But people, due to their ego and other negative tendencies create environments that put brakes in their movement!!

In addition, victorious people always associate with others who have positive outlook toward life or who encourage or who are honest.

Does this mean that you can’t associate with people, who always tend to be negative or put others down?

That depends on the situation. Sometimes you may have to work as a unit with people who tend to discourage others or find faults thus creating a bad environment for themselves and those around them. But thankfully, you have another kind of environment which is your “Inner environment” and over which you can have absolute control.

Let’s what it is:

Internal environment:

Your internal environment is more than “Positive Mental attitude” and Positive Mental Attitude is an integral part of your inner environment.

A thief may have Positive Mental Attitude, but the result of his deeds is not moral. He must also have “Inner environment” that has “Values” that are based on correct principles in life.

When your inner environment is healthy:

You’ll be positive…

You’ll also have high moral values and go according to the right principles as opposed to that thief’s mentality…

You’ll also have thoughts that completely complement your success and every venture you undertake…

Your sense of worth would come from inside instead of how others treat you…

You’ll have good anticipation of the future…

You’ll have unquenchable thirst to do the job at hand in an excellent manner…

You’ll have the “This problem is only temporary” kind of mind-set…

However grave your external environment may seem, you’ll always be insulated and nothing would affect you as you know there is no point in being depressed and confused and sad…

Some of the sources of your inner environment could be God or your family or your principles and values or your goals or all the above!

What happens when you see pictures that represent your goals?

You are reinforcing your “internal environment” and creating a strong fort for yourself. By regularly seeing your vision board or imagining yourself as already achieved your goals you are changing yourself because you are changing your inner environment.

Each and every man or woman who has tasted the fruit of success has, without shadow of a doubt has cultivated a great inner environment.

Your inner environment may get contaminated by the external forces but you always have the CHOICE to purge it from the bad elements and come back!

With time, you’ll become seasoned and mostly you’ll be positive and have a well-nourished inner environment.

Don’t let anyone or anything to disturb your INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT!!

This when combined with the external environment you create for yourself, would bring actual bliss into your life.

Your internal environment charges you continuously and keeps you afloat amidst chaotic waves.

As a parent, you could gift your child(ren) a healthy external environment, along with a nurturing inner environment—through encouraging your child and inculcating good values, discovering talents and promoting, and above all, listening intently!!!

As far as the external environment is concerned, you could take your child (ren) to places where your child (ren) could interact with good people and spend lot of time being encouraged and happy.

These are the circumstances that reveal “Inner treasures” in your child (ren). Taking up classes is an excellent idea. Successful people take their children to libraries, shopping, historic places, etc. Their children get exposed to various things and from which their interest, passion and talents would unfold!! Now that’s natural!!

Put your employees in a healthy, empowering environment as opposed to environment where they always wear robes of “FEAR”.

So the time has come for a complete revamp both externally and internally.

This message is about a Christmas TREE for you this Christmas and New year which when embraced could give you that quantum leap in your life and make you to look ahead briskly to life’s possibilities.

Responsibility

Like lights flashing brightly all over a Christmas tree, let this philosophy gets it’s bright glowing power as you practice them and putting them to effective use. Things will fall in place for you and you’ll be guided through the labyrinth of life.

These four quality traits—Target, Responsibility, Empathy and Excellence are integral part highly, truly, victorious people who have been enjoying complete and all-round success.

You’ll be treading along the same path, enjoying the same fruits as they do and the same kind of great man or woman when you take the time and effort to internalize these 4 factors of true success.

Like a Christmas TREE, this TREE too has a lot of gifts for you—happy life, effective personal communication, excellent leadership, attaining any goals that you set for yourself, etc.

TARGET:

Target is the “point” that you want to aim at. A target is something that you really, desperately and in a longing way wanted!

I-can attitude flows out of a deep sense of personal worth. You get it when you have targets or purposes or goals. That’s why most of the successful people are so confident about themselves as they draw their power from executing the target plans consistently.

Also, you’ll be intuitively drawn to your “real” things— things that that are important. When you do the things that do matter and important to you, your best in you is brought out!!

On the eve of Christmas, just sit down and reflect on your current life and start to know what you want and need, right now!! This awareness will fuel your endeavor and sky-rockets you!!

Successful people always keep their goals in and with them. This means they always think in terms of their goals. Once when you have conceived your targets, you are putting your mind on the right track and eliminate the unnecessary things from your life.

Having the burning desire is like having your “water” but that must be converted in to a steam to move your vehicle. Your purposes or goals or targets do this.

Also, great people know “Why” they want to achieve a certain goal. They not only set goals but also write why they want to reach that goal. This “why” part is the motivating factor and changes you to be persistent with your goals.

Once you form your goals, your motivation would be from inside and not based on the external factors such as weather or how people treat you or whether the day is bad or good—you are focused.

One key character is being patient with goals. People, when they don’t see results, just quit even without analyzing where they are at the moment. But successful crowd just stick to their plans and be patient if they are sure that they are moving in the right direction.

So, this is the first element of tree—targets.

RESPONSIBILITY:

By far the greatest single obstacle to victory is not taking responsibility.

Great people know the secret that most of things would come to them if they don’t wait for things to happen or the other person to take the first step but taking the action themselves as soon as possible.

That’s why they engineer magnificent achievements!!

Epictetus, the Greek philosopher, rightly said,

“God has entrusted me with myself. “

High-achievers don’t get trapped in the run-away syndrome but face the things by taking responsibility followed by appropriate, courageous actions.

They use and think only in terms of phrases like:

“I take responsibility for the way my life is or would be!”

“I am responsible for that outcome and I’ll plan and take necessary steps to attain it!”

They aren’t really obsessed about the outcome—whether they fail or succeed, they always take the responsibility. But most of the time they pull it off!!

This is the mark of the undisputed champions and you too can become one. More precisely, you are one already but your sense of responsibility maybe dormant. Awaken it and take life in your hands.

Once you become proactive, your thinking starts to change, your ability starts to change, you view about life and others start to change!

It could start from this Christmas day!

You’ll have perennial power, like the outstanding people when you realize the importance of this second element of the TREE!

Your comfort zone expands and you’ll be able to do many things which may have frightened you but are necessary for bigger success!!

Taking responsibility is a process of discovering you higher, powerful version. Start it today!

EMPATHY:

Life management is self-management ad people management. Managing each other well in any kind of organization, be it a family or a company or a Church or a school is one of the vital indications that that organization is on the right track and the natural sharing and caring are taking place well!

There’s a world of difference between just interacting with people and, understanding and interacting with people. Top-class men and women understand their people and always strive to know each and everyone well in their team or family or in the class!

You are sure assuming many roles in your life now—son, wife, husband, team leader, etc. This third element empathy is worth much more than most of the things in life because it is the glue that holds everything together in your life and makes you to lead a happy, successful life.

BIG successes have been achieved by teams. You must be a team player at one point of time in your life. This calls for EMPATHY. This must not be used as a way but this must become your character trait—you really got to care about people.

Deep understanding—about people—is the hall-mark of victorious men and women. They know that people are different from one another and to have a synergistic output and a really serene life, understanding others is so crucial.

Marvelous people seek to understand others whereas mediocres expect others to understand them.

But when you truly care for others, you’ll be really so much empathic in nature and that’ll put the seed for great life for all around you.

EXCELLENCE:

The last element in the TREE is EXCELLENCE. Whatever venture they undertake, small or big, the go-getters always seek excellence.

The Bible aptly says in Ecclesiastes 9:10,

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”

Doing with all your might regardless of the output will lead to gateways you haven’t known before!

When you take RESPONSIBILITY to be your best in everything you do, you can even outshine your weaknesses.

Makers don’t compromise on quality. That’s why they are makers. They always make an effort to deliver high quality stuff—always!

They might compromise on other things but never on quality.

This leads them to be the most satisfied and fulfilled people on the planet in the context of happiness.

Always see ad try to reach the peak and nothing else!!

With Christmas around the corner, many people might be thinking about having a complete revamp in their life!

One of the better ways to see an everlasting change is to change the “CORE” that’s inside everyone.

That CORE always seeks one thing—only one thing—which is PEACE and TRANQUILITY amidst the ever-increasing chaos all around!

This important chapter from the book “Go thunk yourself” is the ultimate peak which is built from the other 12 principles we have seen so far in this good book of truths.

Whether they admit or not, the ultimate aim, directly or indirectly, of people, instinctively, is PEACE—that ever-eluding serenity.

But the author of the book “Go thunk yourself” Dr. Robert C. Worstell says, with his vast experience, that to have peace, the first step is SELF-CONTROL.

This is the missing clue in most of the lives and this is the clue that has been working wonders in the lives of highly effective and satisfied and successful people!

Now one may ask what would be the benefit in doing all these things.

The reason is that when one becomes quiet and tranquil he or she would be able to tap into that great resource of creativity and could get insights and intuitions which sets the tone for successes and improvements in his or her life.

A person who is always negative and have no peace cannot see any sort of improvements. Only when that person leaves the negativity behind and embraces PEACE through control over his or her thoughts, could he/she enter the success arena.

Self-control is the key factor in achieving this and anyone regardless of his/her current position in life can attain this through burning desire and practice.

Look what Mr.James Allen, the early 20^th century philosopher asserts:

The calm man (also woman), having learned how to govern himself, knows how to adapt himself to others.

This means that one would also becomes effective with his or her fellow people.

Just consider the following:

When you are calm and know the importance of controlling your thoughts, you know that anger or jealousy or envy would have a negative effect and hence you’d practice being peaceful even if someone tries to make you angry. Even when someone flaunts his or her newly bought car or any other possessions, you wouldn’t be incited and become envy or jealous. Now you have become a complete person who cannot be “DISTURBED” by the “mundane” things!

That is “governing” your “self”.

When you are peaceful with yourself, you can be peaceful with anyone. Many people are, in the first place, not happy with themselves and about themselves. That’s because they allow their thoughts to run on auto-pilot and spoil their fertile land.

Remember whenever you are not happy or feeling uncomfortable, that’s your thought playing the spoiler! Right away start having a strong hold on them.

All things are possible to the one who has peace of mind and as said before, this is achievable through managing yourself.

Thoughts are either created consciously or unconsciously. When you can select you thoughts, why not start selecting your thoughts from today as opposed to having any kind of thoughts?

How better off you could be if you could control and have constant positive thoughts regardless of the outside tempest instead of being positive for sometime and negative for sometime?

With the internet gaining popularity good messages have become so easy. Lots of books are now available for the mind. It has never been easier than now!

All those classic books for self-improvement and mind and peace are available and could be at your disposal in a jiffy!!

Choose to pay the price for prominence and march ahead proudly!

The villain in you echoes that you are better off without responsibility

The hero in you echoes to you to rise to the occasion and take responsibility

Choose to break the hand-cuff of inaction and march ahead majestically!

The bleeder in you gives you a prescription for becoming passive and lazy

The leader in you gives you hope that you can restore your native glory

Choose to address your weaknesses and march ahead victoriously!

The devil in you tempts you to let others down and be callous

The angel in you tempts you to genuinely care for people

Choose to develop trust and march ahead humbly!

The darkness in you implies that your poor condition is incurable

The radiance in you implies that you are not a puppet on a string

Choose to be completely independent and march ahead ferociously!

The destroyer in you declares that it’s over and you have no second chance

The savior in you declares that it’s a fresh day and you can start fresh

Choose to give a comeback and march ahead gracefully!

Now, listen what God has to say,

For there’s no voice superior to His!

God Himself says that you are His progeny

That this day is a genesis in your life

That He made no exception in your case

And ultimately, that you will emerge and grow against all odds!!!

And guess what!

Probably you are already devoting your time and other resources with more than 100% concentration on your goals!

That’s half the job done and you fall into those rare category of proactive people who make things happen as opposed to those who just live life as it comes!

But can have your success without much fuss and ado?

Now, by any means, that doesn’t mean getting victories or succeeding at any level without hard work or smart work or without commitment or passion or preparation. No sustaining or enduring success is possible without these elements. But still you can have your success without much fuss and ado! You can feel serene and balanced inside and free from those self-created rat races and competitions.

When you let yourself to eliminate certain “needs’ that you may have created which are pulling your strings you become totally free and each and every day, it’s a promise, would pass as peacefully and with a divine kind of bliss!

People concentrate on the addition process such as learning new skills, new success principles that they totally aren’t aware of the ELIMINATION process—things that they got to get rid of!

When you are in your success journey you don’t have to carry those “Extra baggage” with you. You can eliminate them or get rid of them forever. Majority of the top achievers get rid of these baggage before they single-mindedly embark on their success journey.

As soon as you get rid of these you get to the next level or to a different plane from where your success would be turbo-charged. You’ll feel like you have discarded tons and tons of unnecessary things which had had great demand on yourself mentally, physically, emotionally as well as spiritually!

These are baggages that are the “Needs” that you created and now are controlling you. They put a lot of stress and burn out as you practice them unconsciously.

They are the “Needs” that spring from ones “Ego” if one allows his or her ego to be the king of his/her kingdom.

Now let’s take a look at these “Needs” that are self-created ones and aren’t needed at all for ones success, for it’s out of ones habit they become “temptation” which controls that person.

Let’s wipe them out once and for all and have a happy, peaceful and calm success adventure:

1.   Need to be right
2.   Need to be intellectually superior or smarter than others
3.   Need to win arguments
4.   Need to exaggerate things

These are 4 really deadly self-created “needs” that can cause great havoc in your daily life.

1. Need to be right:

Except those very small percentage of really wise and success-oriented people, vast majority of the population world over think that they have to be right all the time! They don’t realize that it is this need to always being right saps their vital energy force and leave them paralyzed and stressed out.

If they sense that they may possibly go wrong or fail (Mostly assumed) they simply quit and no more embark on the task or project which they know deep down would could otherwise impact their life positively if they followed through.

The underlying reason? Their fear of not being right or perfect (a form of fear of failure)! If they fail, their ego is put to shame which they cannot bear.
In addition to this they also want to be always right with people. “I am right and you are wrong “, is the implied message.

These kinds of people are still successful but one major difference between them and people who are “Complete” are that these people are always under stress and are in the I-go-t –to-prove mode.
Successful people don’t let their ego to rule them and they know that they don’t have to be right all the time to be successful.

Just keep the following words with you and look it up as often as you can to get rid of this ghost:

“You don’t have to be right all the time. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. But your eventual success is guaranteed if you just persist. Forget about who is right and concentrate on what’s right. Let the other person be right if you know that he or she is right!”

Needs that are not needed for your victory! Part-2

2. Need to be intellectually superior or smarter than others:

Like its sibling this self-created “need” too arises from ones ego and the person is always self-centered and thinks about his/her accomplishments always, proud of the range of knowledge and want to show off unnecessarily. The person always wants to have upper hand when it comes to who is intellectually greater.

They don’t realize that there will be someone at one point or other in their life who maybe smarter than the person in one way or other.

Conversely, really great people know this truth and they don’t waste their energy on things like this. They seek to use that other person’s expertise by combining both their brains for both their benefit and as a result, organization’s welfare. This is team work and this is how most of the great ones think.

Getting rid of this “need” or “temptation” relieves the person and he or she can get along well with others in any kind of organization—family or workplace or anything. There’ll be an immense peace inside.

3. Need to win an argument:

All these “temptations” are interlinked and they have their source in ones inflated ego. The third child in the list, the need to win an argument as opposed to seeking a win-win situation, has earned more enemies for the owner than any other “temptations” in the list. This again is “I am right and you are wrong” scenario where the person who argues with the other just want to be “right” and “win” and even go a step further to embarrass the other person.

People who are successful in marriage also do have misunderstandings but they just sit and talk things. One attribute they have, which unsuccessful couples don’t have, is that they try to arrive at a solution for both (husband and wife) of their well-being. This in turn improves their bond!

Acceptance of “error” or “fault” is the key and this is not easy. But when you crush your ego, it’s like child’s play.

When you realize that the other person has a valuable point and his or her idea could improve the situation, by all means accept it and promptly apologize if you had hurt him or her. Apologizing without any hesitation is a master quality and you can very well be a master in it.

4. Need to exaggerate things:

This too comes from the “I” point of view and the person says,

“I wanted to be noted”

“I want to be different from others and stand out from the mob.”

“I always want others attention.”

Since they wanted to get other’s attention, they try various things to grab others attention such as exaggerating things or incidents. This is an approval-seeking behavior which would take heavy toll on the person involved. Always one cannot concentrate much on the goals if he/she has the “need” to show off or brag. This is because the otherwise wisely used energy and focus would be dissipated in this endeavor of exaggerating things through bragging, showing off, flaunting, etc.

This is the result of allowing “Ego” to be on the pedestal. This urge, to always want to get the “spotlight” on oneself causes one to lose his/her attention and passion to what is really important and they mix up and mess up!

Of course, there’s nothing wrong in desiring appreciation, recognition and encouragement but the real problem emerges when one needs these every minute of the day and put ones self-worth in another person’s hands!

Exaggerating demands you to come up with assumptions to spice up things which in turn would put your thoughts into a vague mode, since you are not working with “facts” but with “fictions”.

Parents accidentally exaggerate things and that have great negative impact on their children.

A dad may, because of his bad mood or emotional upset or even out of habit, comment to his little daughter that whatever she did was absurd and utterly insane when in truth the child was really bright and curious to learn, though a little bit naughty. But what happens by this causal remark is that the child starts to get reprogrammed for a much poorer self-image and may even fulfill what her dad told of her! This is one bad example of exaggerating things.

But successful people tend to get all the “facts” and nothing else. They don’t have the “false need” to exaggerate things since they don’t try to impress others! They are themselves always and they work with facts. This allows them to think so clearly and be effective.

People who exaggerate often complicate things for them and definitely for others around them.

This is a mild killer which if buried rightaway could get you to great heights.

All these “Needs” arise primarily from ones urge to “Impress others” which is a broad topic and all the “needs” comes under it. When one stops trying to impress others and concentrate on his/her mission and values, he/she would be well on his/her way to super success with that eluding inner peace.

The secret is not allowing ones life to revolve around the “I” element. When that happens the focus automatically shifts to other people and other important things. Things become much better and you will experience quantum leaps in every area of your life. You’ll improve your thought process and can clearly think through any kind of situation.

You’ll have unlimited inner peace and unlimited power generating from within.

You’d lose your “I am in competition with everyone” mind-set and would be all set for a marvelous life which is full of success.

Decide this day that you’d bury these self-created “needs” or “tempatations”.

Be it even an international robber or a woman selling you flowers on the roadside or a homeless person or a business tycoon , everyone must at least have one person they really really love so much and would do anything in this life for that person. That person could be your mama or papa or your siblings or your spouse or a lover or a mentor or your grandparents or your neighbor or your child or even your pet animal!

That person may be with you now or has departed from you. Nevertheless no one can erase the memory and the true love you have for that person. We are all weaved together by the magic element of love which has the capacity to bring you back to life and make you a success—a success beyond your wildest expectation!

Now the following letter from that beloved one of yours would inject a new life in you. What if that person now, once and for all, reads to you the letter that’s written particularly for you—for your revival!!

Because I love you so much dearly

How easy is it to find a cup of water? Now, your next question: How easy is it to find a diamond?

It is way lot easier to find a cup of water than it is to find a piece of diamond normally! Now, that’s the difference between people who talks and people who listens. People who really listen are really really a very rare breed like diamond—hard to find.

They are the people who are successful and who are like African elephants—have big ears for others!

Since the days of Adam and eve, so to speak, listening has been that subtle skill that distinguishes the great from the good.

Listening is important because people are important. They are the most important entities. Most of the successful men and women know that it’s important to build great relationships with people based on trust and care and to do that they need to be great listeners.

When you listen more, you put yourself among those elite people who are not only effective in interpersonal relationships but also those great team players in their organizations and families or any other social circle.

Does that mean one should always listen?

Not at all! Talking has its place and do you know when the best time to talk is?

It is after the other person completes his/her talking—definitely not in the middle! It’s this time that when the other person talks is very well used by the successful people and extraordinary listeners and ill-used by others.

Listening can be developed at any age and is the one skill which can set you apart and give you that extra edge.

The most important skill is unfortunately the greatest weakness among people—all over the globe!

But, what about those very few people who are world-class listeners?

Here’s the insight into the world of world-class listeners (both for professional and personal life):

1. Fantastic listeners know the difference between just listening for the sake of it and listening with care, empathy, sympathy and true interest. They could listen to others well because they really care about people. So the starting point is to really care about people.

2. As they really care about others patience comes easily to them which is the bedrock of wonderful listening. Listening, patience and concentration go hand in hand. This is the mark of great leaders.

3. They are better negotiators because they happen to listen to the “whole story” rather than jump into conclusions. They listen to the other person’s point of view. They soon model him or her and become active listeners themselves—action talks louder than words!! This doesn’t mean being a soft person who gives padded shoulders for others. But this means finding good in others.

21. Listening often indicates where one stands and how much area he or she has to cover as far as knowledge and skills are concerned. When keenly listening to people who are better than you, you understand what you got to do to reach the next level. This also develops humility in you. That’s why many people who have accomplished massively are humble as well.

22. Which is correct—learn to listen or listen to learn? Great people recommend both. You first lean to listen and then you listen to learn. Yes listening is a great way to learn. All people who have “arrived” know this truth. Listen... listen…and listen…

23. Above all, they see everyone with a sense of equality. This sense that everyone is worth listening to sets them apart from the rest.

Also Victor Frankl, the world renowned psychiatrist, endured many hardships and nightmares in Nazi death camps which were humanly impossible. How in the world was that possible? Because he was able to LISTEN to his inner voice and intuition and hence was able to come out successfully! Here too again, LISTENING to yourself plays a vital role!!

Remember, by listening to others you are essentially bringing the best in others.
If you think you cannot be a great listener remember nature makes no exception in your case. You can do it! Also the more you listen, the more you’d like to listen. Just try it out!!

Make listening a part of your life style instead of a routine you got to do. It must be a part of you in order to make you a phenomenal listener.

Jesus Christ was a great listener apart from being a great teacher.

One can’t really be confident of success unless he or she is willing to learn from his or her experiences—be they ones mistakes or ones success!

Life is meant to be studied keenly and all the great people have always been serious students of life and are daredevils in making mistakes. How? By using their experiences wisely and by having a totally different outlook when it comes to making mistakes and succeeding.

People tend to ignore their day-today life experiences as something mundane and as a result they miss out on something very important—they deny themselves the precious lessons that life offers them first hand!

Learning from your experiences will take you a long way on the road towards success in any calling. A noteworthy success is within your grasp when you act on the right principles.

Mistake continues….

Growth is possible when one learns from his/her mistakes and success:

Human beings are happiest when they are sure that they are growing or making progress. This is only possible if one is willing to shed his or her old skin of I -shouldn’t -make -- mistakes”. People don’t grow as well as they should because they give up as soon as they make mistakes. Mistake is like a poison that kills persistence when your view mistake as a curse. Never allow mistakes to plant doubts about yourself in your mind.

Children are the epitome of learning from their experience:

Children learn things very quickly because they treat every experience seriously and learn from them. Moreover, they never hold themselves back; they just plunge into the task and aren’t afraid to make mistakes. They learn it the natural way. They are the quickest learners. Now why would one want to learn, especially from his or her mistakes and successes? Because the more and faster you learn the more knowledgeable and well equipped you’ll be for your future tasks. You collect those practical answers that you get from your mistakes and successes. Through recognizing and taking appropriate steps children keep refining their strategies until they no more make the same mistake.

Great achievements are on the other side of mistakes:

People freeze as soon as soon as they hear the idea of making mistakes when on a task or a venture. But those mammoth achievements so far are the refined products of many trials and errors. One classic example is that of the great inventor of the last century, Thomas Alva Edison. If he hadn’t been numb of making mistakes, that too more than 10,000 times learning from his mistakes just think what would have happened! He made a lot of mistakes, learned life’s pragmatic lessons, and corrected his mistakes which eventually lead him towards the grand gateway of success in inventing the incandescent lamp. This has been the case with every other great achiever. No mistakes—no lessons—no great achievements!! You’ll be amply repaid for your lessons.

Recognize and admit your mistakes:

Admitting ones mistake is half the battle won and very well put a person on the right track. You’ll stumble, no doubt, but keep moving and keep learning. Many people, sadly, don’t accept, consciously or unconsciously that they have made a mistake. As a result they never get that new wisdom which life offers them and

this cripples them.

Their will be times when everyone makes mistakes. It is a step towards success. But unsuccessful people unfortunately take themselves as failure instead of the attempt. Excellence comes through persistent attempts and mistakes are the predecessors of success. Don’t worry to make a mistake. Focus your full attention on the job at hand having no attachment to the outcome.

Elbert Hubbard, the American writer and philosopher, once remarked wisely, “The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be constantly fearing that you will make one.”

But try to pay only once!

While it is a great way of becoming a fuller and mature person by becoming wise through ones mistakes, it is also equally important to know that mistakes are to teach one lessons and are not to be repeated time and again. A person, even if he or she is a great leader cannot keep repeating the same mistake again and again.

In the same manner, learn from your successes as well. Success experiences are those golden keys that unlock the golden doors in the maze of life. Serendipity is not common, so be ready to capture those success moments and analyze how you succeeded in the first place. Once missed and forgotten, the magic touch would evade you never to be seen again!! Know how you succeeded. Analyze and study how you succeeded.

Learning from your experience will set into operation some unknown and unseen forces that will make you to face your adversities well. That’s why wise people say that life is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Get the profound knowledge from your experiences and when you do, you’ll leap ahead rapidly.

The Bible says,

“Give, and it will be given to you”

Now what does the term, which by the way is a powerful term with many hidden meanings, mean?

Majority of the mass think that giving means being generous and supporting others by donating money and giving away things to the needy ones. Of course it’s partly true but….this interpretation is far from that successful meaning of the term “GIVING”.

One must unconditionally give before he or she could get back the returns! What one gives one gets back. This is a profound truth which if applied to real life for your success would turn around your entire life for better.

“Now wait a minute, I don’t get the hang of what you are trying to say!” you may ask.

Now let’s roll:

1. You give yourself to learning:

You GIVE yourself completely to educate yourself. When it comes to learning new things be it a new skill for your job or business or something for your personal life or learning about investments, you got to give your 100%.

Successful people are fully dedicated and they are so determined to GIVE their best shot at everything and they don’t worry about the result. They simply focus on giving what they have to learn new things because they instinctively or from their experience know that what goes out from them comes back to them multiplied!

2. Giving at your job or business:

High level performers always GIVE more than they receive or that’s what it’s like in the beginning. But know what?

With or without their knowledge the seeds they sowed grow in to big trees under whose shadow they rest and whose fruits they enjoy as time passes. This is a tremendous truth that can set anyone free!

How?

Because it’s after all human’s nature to expect things in return for their effort or else there wouldn’t be that propellant power to make things happen. Once a man or a woman fully realizes the truth that their success depends up on what and how much they are willing to give and the rewards that it entails, their entire perspective at workplace dramatically and dynamically changes.

How wonderful this would be if a team realizes this truth! Everyone would be like a dazzling diamond performing their duties to their fullest and consequently enjoying their newly discovered potential all because they realized the importance of GIVING and it’s magic power to change their life.

Just working for the sake of work is not GIVING in its full throttle. When the magic element “PASSION” combines the transforming trait of “GIVING” life becomes a miracle!!

One more important aspect for leaders when it comes to GIVING is giving their knowledge and expertise to their team unconditionally without any form of jealousy. This sharing of knowledge and insight by the leaders would help the team to experience giant leaps almost over night! But the top people must be willing to GIVE everything they can give!! Team can always do better than any individual.

Working 8 hours a day for 5 days may help one to survive but never when ones goal(s) is to become a man or a woman who has everything in abundant and who has experienced great success. GIVING an extra hour or two at office without damaging family relationships and bonding would have that transformational effect that Cinderella had in that fairytale.

Those extra hours and days you GIVE along with those extra efforts could very well be called as “MAGICAL HOURS AND DAYS”.

Isn’t it a magic when you are a different man or a woman who couldn’t realize himself/herself after some months of constant GIVING in the way of your time and efforts?

But here again the passion should combine with GIVING to make it all a joyful upward journey!

3. GIVING in your relationships:

GIVING takes on a new and an important meaning in relationship. It’s what one gives and receives that strengthens the bond. But GIVING comes first. LISTENING earnestly and sincerely to your spouse or to your children or your parents or friends is a powerful way to of GIVING. You are giving your time and most of all your ears! “I am all-ears” is the phrase that people are craving for.

When the person you have relationship with realizes that you are listening to him/her and giving yourself full they start to develop a sense of closeness which is so helpful and good for the relationship. This can be a relationship between a boss and a subordinate or a mama and a daughter.

Really well-rounded successful people who have succeeded in all areas particularly in relationships never forget to GIVE their affection, compassion, ears, sympathy and empathy to people around them.

Relation with customers would thrive unbelievably only when employees understand the power of GIVING great services and continuing with it until they are flooded in the rewards which will be nothing short of that great flood in the Noah’s days!!

Is it healthy body you want and long for? GIVE, after counseling with a physician, at least 6 hours of time to train your body for the next level of functioning.

It’s all in GIVING. Supreme people always GIVE and that’s why they seem to have an inexhaustible source of “getting” be it money or knowledge or health.

What one puts in one gets out! GIVE your mind good thoughts and see what you get back! Give it high-class food in the way of books and other educating stuff! The results would be phenomenal!!

You have every right to claim your share of good things of life and today may be the ignition point!

The tennis champ Roger Federer GAVE himself to become a master in his profession. He had been constantly and consistently GIVING before one day life recognized this and started pouring the things in his way. Had he stopped GIVING or was inconsistent he could have missed the boat or may have been side tracked. But thankfully he was Roger Federer! He doesn’t miss many and… so are you!! You are no less talented than him but you must start GIVING from today. GIVE yourself completely to your goals and pursuits like Mr. Roger and you’ll soon be a master in your own way!

GIVING like any other traits should grow and not the other way round. It’s a life long commitment that you make. GIVING never stops but keeps growing and it becomes so ingrained in you that you cannot help but GIVE: at your job or at a social circumstance!

George S.Clason asserted,

“Opportunity is haughty goddess who wastes no time with those who are unprepared”

How true is the statement!

By being a genuine, sincere GIVER yourself what you are actually doing is that you are preparing yourself for every opportunity that comes in your life. You become more valuable. You are PREPARED for every opportunity that hits you!

Say for instance that you are a sincere, passionate worker at your office. You learn new things about your vocation. Now wouldn’t you be considered for a new position? Most probably because you have improved your value by GIVING yourself to the profession absolutely!

The sun that shone during your grand daddy’s time is the same sun that shines today. In the same fashion, this law of GIVING is the same centuries back, today and will be tomorrow!!

People who unfortunately don’t know these great success principles try get before they can give. It’s like trying to build a house without a foundation—impossible!

Nothing is free and everything great has a price tag attached to it and all one has to do is to earn it by GIVING! There’s an unexplainable pleasure too in giving everything you have!!

People who grasp this truth will shine like that fixed star in the sky that shines brightly and beautifully!

Where do you dwell?

A person, say a sage or a wise old man, comes to you and say, “your success depends upon where you dwell upon!”

You may find yourself saying to yourself in a low whisper “What success has to do with where a man or woman dwells upon. That’s ridiculous!?”

But not long before, the sage says that he doesn’t mean your home or the area you live in but an entirely different area which if sorted out could bring you a revolutionary change.

Yes! Successful people and the rest of the mass have one key difference between them. Successful people always dwell on the positive thoughts about themselves, about things and about other people whereas others dwell on the negative and dark side of life.

This causes them to experience entirely different things on the same journey. They perceive things differently and as a result they think differently, act differently and their results are produced differently!

Now let’s see what demarcates the successful, positive dwellers from the negative dwellers:

1. Successful people dwell on the positive side of things and on constructive, empowering things but they also don’t forget to give a short visit to think about their negatives, the weaknesses or about the obstacles. But they have a reason to do it. They know that to be effective and sustain success they can’t afford just concentrate on the positive side alone but to know about the negative side.

But the people who dwell on the negatives, very rarely, if at all, visit the good-thoughts area and possibility-thinking. They always are so busy in adding words like “I can’t”, “I am not talented”, “Dull and cruel life…”, etc to their dictionary.

2. Since positive people are engaged in looking and expecting at the brighter side of things they are able to stay in a powerful state which enables them to get FEEDBACK quite efficiently and successfully. From the feedback they obtain, they make the changes necessary and steer their way to success.

The people who dwell on the mansion of negativism and pessimistic thinking are overwhelmed by the emotions they draw from the negative thought patterns which is the very reason that causes the FEEDBACK factor to be invisible for them.

3. Positive people too have challenges and roadblocks like the unsuccessful, passive people, in fact they have much more but they always concentrate on arriving at a decision or figuring out a way to solve the problem. Successful people dwell on the answers whereas the negative ones dwell on the problems and automatically are entangled by the tentacles of the difficulties.

4. As a result of their dwelling place mentally the choices between the successful people and the unsuccessful ones are prominently different. They react and respond differently to the same stimuli. A successful man or a woman always dwell on things that take them further and in contrast, the negative people dwell on things that make them to retreat even though everyone has been basically endowed with the same faculties.

5. Even when great men and women are down they act confident and in turn they restore their peak potential once again to stride forward in their odyssey. But the mob with “mediocre” thinking gives in easily because of their rooted-negative thought patterns.

6. People who dwell on the light always believe in themselves, as their inner dialogues over time condition them to believe in themselves and in their ability. On the other hand, people with negative outlook on life have little or no confidence in themselves.

7. As a result of dwelling in a I-can palace, effective people do what the unsuccessful people don’t do, whether they like it or not. As a result they get what the unsuccessful people don’t get!

8. Good dwellers are good watchmen and watchwomen. They guard themselves against worries, jealousy, anxieties, loss of self-confidence, etc. They know that if they allow these vices to take root then the consequences would be so devastating. In contrast, people who dwell in the ditches of life don’t even realize the ill-effects the above mentioned demons.

9. Even when the positive-dwellers are affected by the viruses of real life they never fail to declutter and detoxify their mind. But for the rest, they simply experience avalanche effect and allow themselves to be washed out by the external factors.

10. The optimistic warriors just don’t be positive this moment and then negative the next but they try to be positive most of the time. But the dwellers of “dark-place” for the most of the time are negative, bogged down by one thing or other.

The successful surfers know that they can’t change their past and they simply concentrate on the now, as they perfectly understand that their success depends on how well they use the “NOW”. But, unfortunately others choose to dwell on the past and just replay those energy-sapping videos over and over.

Just one more secret for your success: Effective and successful people draw their energy and power to “stay” whatever happens from the place they dwell habitually— THE POSITIVE ZONE. Negative people who are already tired from their own energy-sapping thoughts get knocked down by the very first sight of a hurdle.

To be the perfect dweller let us follow what Plato, the great philosopher said,

“The first and best victory is to conquer self.”

You can if you think you can and, if you believe you can dwell on the positive-palace, then in no time you’ll be the prince or princess of that palace!!

Peace of mind is the key for your success

Whoever you are and whatever your goal is, you could get to your goals in either of the two ways—with complete peace of mind or with chaos outside and inside you. It’s all how one perceives the world!

Without that peace of mind, life would be a daily struggle. Whatever the external conditions are in your life or whoever is bossing one around, one can always have peace of mind if he or she resolves to have that “inner balance” in himself or herself.

Many people have goals well set but they become so depressed when they put the efforts toward their goals just because of the challenges they face in their effort. It’s the challenges, the temporary defeats, frustrations, disappointments they experience in their journey toward reaching their goals that stop them from reaching their goals and making them an alien to “peace of mind”.

But highly successful people would have their peace of mind as their number one priority and they simply refuse to be bogged down by the “discouragements” that WILL arise when one follows any worthwhile goals. They somewhat seem to know instinctively that if they were to be successful then they cannot afford to pollute their “inner garden”, and in the process lose their peace of mind.

Dear reader, you too can be a “Happy” goal-striving human being as opposed to stressed goal-striving human if you vow to yourself that you wouldn’t allow the external adverse conditions and other people to pull your strings and kill your peace of mind.

Remember, when you keep on having continuous stream of “peaceful days” your brain would start to function at a higher dimension and invisible forces would aid you in your success.

The bottom-line: Be that rare individual who is always at peace and bliss and doesn’t quiver in the face of adversities!!

Success is not an accident but a well planned movie—and you are the director. When you realize this ultimate truth that you are the director and start directing your own movie you’ll eventually end up making a movie that could very well fetch you a lot of awards!!

But most of the masses around the world think that success, of any kind, is out of their control and they don’t have any control over this phenomena. They think it’s an accident that occurs when: One has the “pull” or get that favorable “break” or when everything “clicks”—with out any effort on the part of the one who succeeds! Nevertheless it is far from the truth. Remember,

“Success has never been handed in a gold or silver platter at any time in the history of the human race.”

If one thinks that the sons and daughters of the business tycoons or the billionaires are lucky ones as they have the “money” and other riches they need, they got to think again. Success is not in the “money” or in other riches that ones parents had left for him/her.

Success is the progressive realization of a worthwhile purpose that you have conceived for yourself and which again is also the mission of your life which gives you the satisfaction that you have done well and have contributed something to others. And in the process you satisfy everything that you wanted. It gives you a sense of worth and self-fulfillment.

By the above definition, it is clear that even those billionaire’s sons and daughters have to prove their worth and have to fight their way up to realize their purpose in their life. Even with the money that their parents had accumulated they wouldn’t have that satiated and worthy feeling. They feel a “vacuum” inside, a sense of low self-esteem. They have to prove themselves.

So ones ultimate goal should not be “money” alone but to achieve those things which you think are valuable and which if attained would make a great difference in your life and in the life of others. It should be a well-rounded one that touches every area of your life.

Many go after the money 24/7 thinking that money would give them all they want. But eventually end up with many disorders of the body. The same is true vice versa. They may enjoy a great health in their 60’s and 70’s but would not have money in their banks! Some get “money” at the expense of their morality!!

But the wise thing is to strike a balance between the difference areas in your life and get success in its “wholeness”.

Success is a statue and like Michelangelo you have to sculpt it with your days, inch by inch. The statue would not appear by chance—the work has to be done. The nuances should be followed wherever it is called for. The details should be attended to and finally one would soon realize that the statue is one the way.

Some points that would help one in this direction are as follows:

1. The first step in this direction is taking responsibility for ones life. They must realize that everything that happens to them is not an accident but a result of their own actions. So, one should resolve to take control of the actions that they take on a daily-basis.

2. Setting goals that are congruent with ones values is an effective step in achieving anything one wants and needs. Goals give one the laser-focus and a sense of meaning to his/her life.

3. As has been said that success is not an accident but a deliberate act of excellence, that means success leaves clues. So looking for examples in ones field of endeavor would be a great approach to constant improvement.

4. Commitment to regular action, especially on the goals, is the one primary, essential factor that ensures ones success beyond doubt. Actions follow the vision every single time, but without a vision the actions that are necessarily taken in different directions, randomly, would be a waste of time, energy and other valuable resources.

5. Change yourself from “Waiting for success” to “Moving forward for success”.

To summarize it all, it all starts with ones new belief that he or she is entitled to succeed even when he or she was conceived by his or her mother. You were born to control not to be controlled! Success is not an accident but an auspicious incident that can happen when you get that “fire” inside you. Why not be a rocket that has started its upward movement!!

Believe in this!

(This is an excellent and illuminating book by James Allen. Here, for your information, wherever he mentioned “He” denotes both men and women. In the olden days, most of the literature were addressed towards the readers using “He” which means not only men but also women.)

We have all taught how to drive a car or how to eat or how to talk but most of us have never been taught how to LIVE which is the vital, crucial and the cornerstone of all the good things that we could enjoy during our lifetime on this planet.

Most of the problems spring from the fact that men and women aren’t really taught this pivotal element of living.

Learning to live, in essence, is nothing but learning to direct our forces, using all the potential we were born with toward a meaningful end.

What’s inside of you?

Whether one is happy or in misery it is him/her who is responsible for his/her position.

So, what could be the cause?

For instance, think about any incident in your life where you took action. Say you went for a movie with one of your friends. Your called your friend and asked whether he or she was interested in going to a movie with you.

Wait… but what would have happened before that!?

You definitely must have had a lot of thoughts flooding over your mind about on which day to go to a movie, what time, with whom, which movie theatre, etc. You may have got a spark of thought which would have triggered all the good feelings in you and hence the subsequent ideas.

Every action is preceded by THOUGHTS.

James Allen asserted,

“They (thoughts) are the effects of deeds”

But it’s a sad truth that people overlook this truth and don’t give any serious consideration to this marvelous yet eye-opening insight!

So, the cause being the thought and the effect being the deeds, just imagine how wonderful life would be if one could control and direct the thoughts and thereby the deeds!

That’s what the leaders in every walk of life have been, and are doing!!

Your attitude, the way you think and behave are not fixed. They could be changed. All one got to do is to change his or her thought process and the way he or she perceives the world.

This is self-conquest or self-mastery and the joy that you would get from liberating yourself from these old patterns of thinking is indescribable in words and has to be experienced individually.

Everything is a choice:

When one decides to eliminate the disempowering thoughts and wants to reach the next higher plane by thinking pure thoughts or thoughts that would strengthen him or her, he or she can always do so, and remember it is not an innate gift but a choice… which is under that person’s control.

Your thoughts make your world a dark dungeon or a well-lit, bright Heaven depending upon the how you discern the world around you.

The question is: “Through which lens are you viewing the world?”

Your thoughts give color to your life and it’s up to you to choose the colors—dim or bright!!

Would you like to receive gifts all year round? There is a way—and this way has been in existence for our utilization all through the ages but very infinitesimal number of people has ever walked through this way to receive the gifts for which they were entitled since their birth.

Okay, what are the gifts and what is the way and more importantly, who is providing those gifts?

With out any further ado, let us take off!

Like Albert Einstein every great man and woman has been, and is using this great power for his or her success. And the question, with care, for you today is: Why not you?

One survey revealed that as high as 96% of the people in the USA recognize some kind of higher power in their day-to-day life in one way or other. Now, many people cannot go wrong and also it is an absolute truth that most of the outstanding people in all walks of life get help, guidance and assistance from the Universal mind.

Many great authors who studied about this, such as Haanel, Wattles, Dr.Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, etc have all insisted upon having a harmonious relationship with the God to receive the gifts in the way of intuitions, hunches, ideas, feeling to take certain action steps, etc.

Due to the bombardment of many thoughts from all directions in the modern world and the unawareness about this force many are not in the same frequency with the Universal mind or the Master mind and have lost contact with this Power.

This Supreme power is everywhere, permeating all forms and matter and we are all part of it. This also means that once one recognizes the infinite intelligence he/she is always not alone and has a powerful entity with him.

One got to be co-operative and one with the infinite intelligence so as to become a big success and prayer is a part of the way to connect with the infinite intelligence.

Now, how is this co-operative connection is achieved?

Through your feeling of gratitude for all the favors received and working on the hunches without delay combined with ones common sense. It’s simple but so powerful that your life could be turned around as soon as you start tapping into this omnipotent source.

One great place to start is to start reading the Bible which is the source of all knowledge about life. Great book to start ones journey to be one with the infinite intelligence and also to get wonderful ideas for ones life—to succeed and to be happy!

This is not just a myth but an exact science. Just peruse what Dr.Robert Worstell has said in this book about this approach:

No doubt money is one of the important means to live life fully and with utmost satisfaction. It would be mere pretending to say that one would be happy and is living a complete life without money.

This is not to say that money is everything and must be at the top of the list of priorities, but it should be among the top items in your life after some other more important factors to which one got to give utmost importance.

One among those important elements is an attitude to serve people first which is a step that precedes fortunes of all kinds.

Bob Proctor, the self-help guru who appeared in the movie “The Secret” revealed a gem of a truth when he said,

“You should always love people and use money, rather than the reverse.”

Another well-established author who has probed many areas in the self-help industry for about 25 years, Dr.Robert C.Worstell, used to always says that serving people should be ones life motto — “paying it forward in advance.”

Nine out of ten times people unconsciously attach this concept “serving” for doing “free service”. Hence they don’t give it any serious consideration, mostly detests this word and overlook this mightily powerful principle of success which could lay the strongest of platforms.

But doing quality service to the people with passion in your job or business is a divine thing, one of the strongest investment you could ever make and the security and satisfaction you get from it cannot be computed in monetary terms and there are no words to describe the transformation a man/woman get from serving well and to the best their potential, as the rewards are multi-fold

If one wants to climb the staircase of success rapidly then the first place to start their expedition is from “SERVICE”—servicing people unconditionally.

The more you want to serve people, the more you would get to serve and the more you would earn as a result.

The height you could and would reach literally depends upon how many people you would want to serve and how sincerely you to do it.

For one thing, your life definitely takes on a new meaning and purpose when you serve others and in addition to this by impacting people positively you are changing this world into a much better place.

All the outstanding men and women of the ages have always concentrated and were obsessed to serve people with better products and services. They have always wanted to give first before they could see the “green stuff”. They made it certain that their customers or clientele are getting the value for their money. They were happy whenever they saw that “curve” on the face of their customers as a result of quality service. For they know that money and other rewards would follow shortly.

Just cultivating this one key ingredient in ones current job is the apt place to start and the good thing is that one would start a magic momentum which could land him/her in subsequent better positions in the times to come.

One can be sure that Bill Gates would have imagined people benefiting from his operating system and a world that was running which previously had been walking. He couldn’t have thought about having the money first before serving the people.

But the major portion of the masses gets it wrong. They think in reverse. They always expect the money to show up first.

They put the cars of money in front of the engine of service and wait for the car to pull the engine! That could never happen!! Only the engine goes first… shortly followed by the cars!!! It’s a universal law —and universal laws are immutable.

Money is one of the “by-products” of earnest and quality service. Remember, anyway one got to work in the course of his/her life-time. Rather than just doing ones job mechanically he/she could concentrate on the service part of the work and be reminded that the money would definitely follow as surely as night would after the daylight today!!?

Service is the cornerstone-habit of the successful men and women. It’s not an option but a must.

Serve your boss as best as you can irrespective of his/her vices and other human weaknesses, serve your spouse to your fullest of potential, serve your customers as if serving kings and queens (Indeed they really are!!) and whenever and wherever you get a chance to serve, remember there you have a chance to reach the next plane in your life of success!

One great difference between people who have money in the center of their universe and people who have service in the center of their universe is that when they both happen to lose their money the people who work for money would find it too difficult to bear the loss and give a comeback whereas the people who are service oriented don’t get as much hurt due to the lose of money and they happily continue to serve the people knowing that a fortune is underway! Eventually they get to the top again!!

It’s all about what one has as their foundation. If you have SERVICE as your foundation then you cannot but have to become rich in all aspects!! No force could turn you over.
The following points would help anyone who wants that head-start in their life by putting this powerful principle of “Serve-first”:

1. When you are in your job or business think of ways to give best service you are capable of to everyone you come into contact with. Thinking in long-terms is the wisest thing to do. Think of the accruing effect that you would get as a result of your quality service and the impact that could have on you a year from then or the improved person you would become, not to mention your children or your spouse would benefit from your marked improvements.

2. When you start to become a man/woman of spotless service you put yourself among those rare group of people who are destined for a rich and rewarding life.

3. It is as though the people who are service-oriented almost always get some kind of courage and love out of the blue. This courage sees them through in all the situations of life and moves them forward and upward in every facet of their life.

4. In terms of money, remember that rich people are invariably the ones who serve many people and affect their life in a positive way though their service or product and perhaps that’s why they are rich in the first place!

But at the end of the day it’s not just money but the other blessings that one would get that demarcate the marvelous men/women from the rest!

There was a story in which the protagonist, a young man was working as a mechanic in a shop and has had a poor day in profit and it was a toiling day. He was extremely tired as a result and was about to close his small shop as it was already too late and showering heavily. Meanwhile an old man came into the shop and said that his car had broken down a couple of blocks away and asked him if he could come to fix the problem.

He didn’t hesitate even for a second but went ahead with the old gentleman. Upon arrival at the sight, there was an old lady in the car, the old man’s wife. As the work needed some hours to fix the problem, the young man said that he would have their car fixed by the following morning and then they could pick it up. He also offered to take the old man and woman in his car to drop them at their home but all this with out a dime. The next day he fixed the car the first thing in the morning and sooner the old man was at the shop to take back his car.

The young man also charged very reasonable amount for the service. This old man, as was known later, was a president of a large corporation, who was impressed by this young man’s service and honesty, offered to provide fund for this young man so that he could start his own business. The young man did indeed start his own business and went on to become rich in all areas of his life just because of his service-oriented approach.

You may not know from where your favorable break is going to come when you keep on working sincerely and make service as the mantra of your life.

One only got to try this for a month and see the difference for himself/herself.

Guard your mind 24/7

In the olden times, kings and queens who ruled their respective territories had guards everywhere—near them, on the frontiers, at the entrance to their castles and around the castles, at the sides of the doorways of each and every room in their palace, etc., to counteract any opposition forces that may enter these restricted areas and cause great inflictions to the kings or queens.

There were numerous emperors or empress, known and unknown, who lost their kingdom to the enemy inspite of strong fort just because they hadn’t taken the time to guard their minds from the greater enemies, probably the greatest than they encountered during their lives—the doubts, loss of self-confidence, lack of self-reliance, etc.

Doubts crept and crawled into their minds like a serpent and without them consciously knowing it. Sooner than later these emperors and empress started to doubt their abilities and the capacity and skills of the people who were at their service ultimately causing their kingdom to fall prey to the follies of their own minds.

Once doubts of any kind and other kind of these incapacitating thoughts seeped into their mind they literally started to lose their hold over their enemies than they would have ever lost by the sheer strength of their enemy’s battalion.

It’s imperative that a man or woman of ambition to succeed doesn’t lose their confidence in him/her.
But the question is: How the self-reliance and self-belief are lost in the first place?

By the way of doubts that accrue step-by-step, drop-by-drop in oneself through an array of so-called “bad experiences” that one may face in his/her undertakings in the direction of the goals.

It all boils down to one fact: The same “bad experiences” could mean entirely different thing to two different persons depending upon how they take the situation and draw a conclusion based on how they “see” the situation, which in turn either strengthens their belief in themselves or allows the doubts and other self-defeating beasts of the “deceitful mind” to enter them and completely shatter their hope.

It’s not enough to think the positive and life-giving good thoughts alone that strengthen ones belief in his/her capacity to anything. One must make it a point that however difficult or hopeless the life may seem or that he/she seems to have landed in a plight or quandary from which, as he/she thinks, there’s no way out even in their dreams, he/she will always stay calm and composed.

He/she will never allow these self-defeating doubts and worries to enter the premises of mind, for once if you allow them they’ll plunder everything that this person has leaving him/her in turmoil and great distress not to mention the material loss that is incurred.

One important point to drive home which is worth your time and attention is this: Remember the image that you hold of yourself and about your goals in your mind will keep working at your subconscious level and start make things happen for you.

But most of the people after they had started to hold the images of what they want don’t try to hold and nurture these images but let them go and start to replace them with the images of what they don’t want as soon as they encounter a temporary defeat or an adverse condition. But the key is not to give up the positive images about yourself and your vision at the first sign of defeat but to cling to the “positive images” like a baby monkey grabs its mama, whatever the outer circumstances may be–good or bad.

If you conceive a nourishing image of yourself and keep strengthening it soon it would be etched strongly in your subconscious mind, or your spiritual mind in other words, which would banish the doubts and transform you completely.

There is a Zen proverb which says,

“Be master of mind rather than mastered by mind”

When you start controlling your thoughts you become master of your destiny and a lord of the fate. You will start to direct your life and start to get the rich rewards it offers. Don’t let the doubts take over the control.
So just guard your mind from slipping into the trenches of lack of confidence, poor self-image and self-esteem, doubt in your abilities, etc. and soar high in the clouds of success!

Are you willing to pay the price?

Success is not something that is reserved to only a few men and women who are called the “privileged ones” or the “blessed ones”. But, the bitter truth is, to many people it seems to be like that. They think that some people are predestined to do certain things and it’s all already “written down” in the fate, according to them.

Anyone, whether poor or physically disabled or a widow/widower or in his late forties or fifties or someone who doesn’t have education, can achieve any amount of success in their chosen field of activity, like those successful people, if they are willing to do what these successful people have done and are doing.

Let me reiterate the key phrase here:

“Anyone can achieve success if he/she wants it desperately and deliberately providing that person is willing to do what the successful people have done and are doing.”

The key difference between the people who go on achieving marvelous things after marvelous things and those who just sit on the sideline and watch them transcending milestone after milestone is that people who are the “doers”, most of them, know where they are going, or in other words, they have a purpose in their life.

But that’s only a part of their success script. Another equally vital key factor is that the people who have achieved great things have invariably paid the price for their success.

It is when this action part comes that people quit or just give up. They either are not ready to undergo the pains for the success or they may think that it’s not worth all that.

For some people it may be that they do not really desire to achieve a particular thing. The strength of their desire is weak because that particular goal maybe not the one for them but they try to achieve it for the sake of others or by the pressure exerted by their spouse or dad or mom or someone they know.

If that’s the case, all one got to do is to think deeply and meditate for a while to figure out their purpose in their life—what they really want to do and what they really want to achieve. Once they have found out their passion, then they would most probably PAY THE PRICE because that’s what they wanted in the first place.

People who are now the “wizards” in their vocation were once just learners who worked their way up by taking the necessary steps, by undergoing all sort of experiences both good and bad, and by changing themselves in every area through learning and practice. They faced many blows of temporary defeats and disappointments before they were made in to diamonds.

That is the time that transformed them and made them into a brand new class of people making them to stand out from the mob.

In the mountain of success you can see many people trudging their way around the mountain. But only a few, very few, go vertically against all the obstacles and the gravity, experiencing that pain of transformation voluntarily, and achieve the peak which holds the magic talisman for them!

From that moment forward they seem to be insulated against all kind of the “mundane issues” of the life. They leap from one peak to another as they have gained some kind of magic powers just because they were willing to do what others weren’t even willing to think of!

Do you think that just because you have been going around the mountain for a long time now you cannot change your course and start lifting yourself vertically and reach the zenith?

Of course you can and you will if you decide once and for all that you are ready to do the things that are in the “impossible” or “not-for-me” list of the pessimistic people.

It may seem that you have to experience many discomforts on your path to your goal. But the small pains that you may have, the pains which transforms you and are necessary, are not at all as painful as being a “mediocre” or a “coward” who doesn’t accomplish anything because he/she isn’t willing to PAY THE PRICE.

A young giraffe must undergo the initial discomforts when it learns to stand. That’s natural and the same nature applies in success as well. Likewise, a chick has to break its way through the egg shell before it could arrive and GROW.

In similar way, one has to be willing to pay the price for his/her success.

If your goal is to become a great tennis player for your country then get the coaching and study all the great tennis players and learn what they did(THE PRICE THEY PAID) to become what they are. All the legends in tennis, regardless of whether they are talented or not, will have paid the price that’s necessary to acquire the level of competency and mastery in tennis.

You may be a student who wants to improve your learning skills and be a very good student or a married woman with children who wants to start out on a new venture or a business man who wants to take your business to the next level or a an unemployed young man or woman who wants to make a mark in the society and change your life for better. The rule is the same: JUST NAIL THESE THE THOUGHTS HARD INTO YOUR MIND THAT YOU CAN GET ANYTHING YOU WANT IF YOU BECOME A PERSON WHO IS EVER-READY TO PAY THE PRICE AND WHO SIMPLY PAYS THE PRICE.

There is no such thing as something for nothing. If you pay everything you have now, you’ll be paid everything that the life has for you—anything you want!

Serenity

Mind is like a monkey—it wanders and keeps on wandering if one doesn’t have control over it.

Majority of people have little or no control over this “wandering” nature of the mind and as a result lacks that precious gift it can give itself, and for what many of us are longing for—THE CALMNESS OF MIND.

If you have been suffering from lack of calmness you already have had enough experience behind you which taught you the need for peace of mind. Chances are you already may be seasoned to some extent by the “hard knocks” you may have experienced by your “sour” experiences.

From this time forward you can resolve to be a person who enjoys great control over your mind for your success and more importantly a person who has excellent “calmness” maintained deep inside himself/herself. You can, if you resolve to be, have that ever-elusive “self-control” over your temper and remain calm like an undisturbed lake irrespective of the external conditions and circumstances.

Remember you are a thought-evolved human being in whom everything is based on your thoughts and this includes your success and failures or your peace of mind or want of it. The more you understand this truth, the truth of cause and effect, the more self-control you can exercise over your thoughts to remain calm and think with crystal-clear thoughts which pave the way for your success.

A man or woman who has understood that the thoughts cause the results in their life in harmony with the kind of thoughts they think, whether good or bad, they stop complaining about life and start to work on their current situation by taking effective actions in the right directions with a calm and serene mind.

People respect a man or woman who is calm and steady amidst storms of bad situation or condition. These kinds of people are looked upon as role models and moreover they are relied upon.

When you have mastered this art of staying calm under pressure and other external “tornadoes” you can succeed in any business, any job or any endeavor, big or small, which you may pursue in your life. That is the secret of supreme men and women.

Once you have become a conqueror of your inner peace you would be the same with people at all times. You may be facing a challenge in your business or a tough client, but you wouldn’t be transferring those frustrations to your employees by venting your temper as you wouldn’t be in a bad mood at all as not a single bad situation has dominion over you! You are a calm master who is serene at all times!!

Now you are not like most of the people who lack the power over their temper and emotion and who are devoid of “calmness of mind”. They lose their temper at the drop of a hat and find it difficult to get a grip. But not you! You are calm and composed at every moment of your waking hours and obviously when you are sleeping not releasing your grip to the evil powers of ill-tempers and bad emotions.

There are scores of popular examples of icons in all walks of life that are available which says the lost chances or opportunities, ruined lives, marred characters, etc just because of losing ones peace of mind due to deficiency in command over the mind.
